Discover the depth of Iyengar Yoga
A thoughtful and progressive approach to practice that develops strength, stability, awareness, and a deeper understanding of your body.
Develop a practice that supports your body and your life.
With regular practice, you begin to develop greater strength, mobility, awareness, and confidence in your body.
Iyengar Yoga teaches you how to observe, adapt, and work with your body through thoughtful instruction and practice. Rather than forcing yourself into a shape, you learn to build a deeper understanding of your body—one that can support you throughout your life.
Maybe you’ve tried yoga before, but something was missing
You may have tried online classes but felt unsure how to adapt the poses to your own body.
You may have attended classes where you followed along, but never fully understood the purpose behind the poses or how to develop your practice.
You may have been shown the shape of a pose, but not the actions and awareness that help you experience its benefits.
Iyengar Yoga offers a different approach—one that helps you understand how to work with your body through careful instruction, observation, and practice.
Yoga is not one-size-fits-all
Every body is unique, and your starting point in yoga may be different from another student’s.
Iyengar Yoga offers a progressive and thoughtful approach that allows you to build your practice step by step. Through careful observation and instruction, you learn how to work with your own body rather than simply trying to fit into a predetermined shape.
In a class setting, I can offer guidance, adjustments, and adaptations based on what I see in your practice—helping you develop greater awareness, confidence, and understanding.
Like many students, my understanding of my body and my practice has evolved over time.
I explored different styles of yoga through classes and online practices, and while I appreciated those experiences, it was through discovering Iyengar Yoga that I found a deeper approach to learning.
The Iyengar method taught me how to observe, understand, and work with my body in a more meaningful way. Through the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar and my own teachers, I continue to develop greater awareness, strength, and confidence in my practice.
Sharing this method with students is a privilege, and I am grateful to continue learning from this tradition.

Learn yoga through a thoughtful, progressive approach
I am a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, and my approach to teaching is rooted in careful observation, clear instruction, and progressive learning.
In my classes, you will learn how to understand the actions within each pose, adapt the practice to your own body, and develop greater awareness over time.
With consistent practice, you will build strength, stability, confidence, and a deeper understanding of what you are capable of—both on and off the mat.
A practice that meets you where you are
You do not need to be flexible, experienced, or a certain body type to begin yoga.
Iyengar Yoga offers a thoughtful and progressive approach that allows you to start from where you are. Through careful instruction and the use of props when appropriate, you learn how to work with your own body and develop your practice over time.
Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for years, there is always an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the poses and discover new possibilities in your practice.
For example, one student experienced cramping when first learning ardha chandrasana (half moon pose). By practicing a supported version of the pose, she was able to better understand the actions of the posture and gradually build the strength and stability to practice independently.
Sometimes the key to progress is simply finding the right starting point.
I'd love to welcome you to class
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to your practice, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you can learn, explore, and grow.
