HEALTH HISTORY CONSULTATION

This is where we start to explore your health journey. You’ll fill out a detailed health history and symptom questionnaire prior to our first session.  This is our discovery time. I will ask you a lot of questions and listen carefully.  Together we’ll identify your main health goals, I will share my thoughts about your key health issues and offer you a few gentle suggestions to start your journey.  From here you can sign up for my health coaching program.

Together we’ll examine the myriad of pieces that inform your overall health.  Our goal will be to carefully piece together a clear picture of what’s going on in your body. We’ll determine how well your body is functioning, with the understanding that every system in your body is interconnected. When necessary, I will recommend diagnostic tests to eliminate guesswork and determine the root cause(s) of your imbalance. As we explore the clinical aspects of your health, we’ll also keep mindful of how your beliefs and emotional patterns impact your physical well-being.

Mind, Body and Spirit Work Together.

Next, we’ll create a plan, with doable next steps. As we work together, you’ll learn how to nourish your body with fresh, whole foods. I may suggest supplements to assist your healing. I will help you build the foundational health knowledge to sift through contradictory advice to make informed decisions that benefit your body, mind and spirit.

As we work together to address and relieve health issues (like anxiety, digestive upset, hormonal imbalances and metabolic chaos), you’ll be surprised by how quickly your body heals itself. You’ll develop the skills and habits necessary to nurture and nourish your body. I offer a minimum of three months of coaching and, depending on your needs, we can extend our time together.

COOKING LESSONS

Cooking has always been my first love. As a young child, I remember how happy I felt the first time my mother allowed me to bake a cake from start to finish all on my own.  My culinary journey spans from cooking at some of New York City’s finest restaurants to developing favourite recipes in my very own kitchen.  Whether you’re a novice and just want to get started with basic knife skills or a seasoned cook who wants to take your skills to the next level, I would be delighted to share my secrets for turning out fabulous food. This service is only available locally in Toronto, Canada
